Zavier Robbie Vienneau

Evans Mills and Forestport, NY – Zavier Robbie Vienneau, age 16, the son of Johnathan Vienneau and Mary Ann Brown, passed suddenly at River Hospital, Alexandria Bay, NY, from a severe allergic reaction. Zavier was looking forward to entering 11th Grade at Indian River Central School, Philadelphia, NY and was particularly eager to attend Watertown BOCES where he planned to study Culinary Arts. In recent years, Zavier developed a passion for cooking, his early specialty was being a “Grill Master” at grilling ribeye steaks. During the summer and on most weekends, Zavier enjoyed his time spent in the Forestport area.

Zavier was born on September 22, 2009, in Rome, the son of Johnathan and Mary Ann Hartley Vienneau. Before he resided in Evans Mills and Forestport, Zavier lived in Boonville, where he attended Adirondack Elementary School.

His favorite sports related activities were riding his bicycle and skateboarding. For outdoor activities, he loved Basketball and spent many evenings playing basketball out front, at times other neighborhood kids would come up and join him. He always had time for all others, from little kids to his extended older family. He had recently attended a one week camp for Skateboarding, in Woodward Pennsylvania. Zavier really loved dogs, not just his dog “Gentleman.” In addition he couldn’t help petting every dog he saw. Zavier also possessed the attributes of being a very gentle soul. He was always quick with a hug, especially if he thought you were down. For a boy of his age, this is a very unique attribute and was very special for his family and friends.

Zavier recently was introduced to the joys of riding a four wheeler. He would be seen on the trail cam, riding throughout the property. He and his step sister Cassandra would take turns cruising the property, having the time of their lives.

Zavier also loved his camping trips with his dad. For many years since he was young, they would spend two weeks at Long Point State Park near Chaumont Bay, Thousand Islands. This is a family tradition that Zavier’s dad and parents began in the 1960’s. Zavier greatly enjoyed swimming, fishing and boating while camping.

Another facet of Zavier’s life was traveling on several cruises. Recently he went on a Carnival Cruise with his mother. Three years ago he traveled on an Alaskan cruise, with his father, where he discovered his favorite food he had ever tasted, King Crab Legs.

Zavier is survived by his mom, Mary Ann Brown and step dad, Charles Brown, his father Johnathan Vienneau and his fiancé Heidi Covey. Also step siblings, Xavier McFall Brown and his fiancé Jessi Woodward, Kathryn Brown and children, Oliver and Atticus Quiles; Jefferson Brown and Cassandra Brown and fiancé Kaleb Countryman; Papa Darrell Hartley, Boonville; GG Irene Hartley, Lyons Falls, Uncle Nick and Aunt Tanya Hartley, Port Leyden and their children, Christina Swiernik, Shelby, Allison, Michael and Cameron Becraft; and Uncle Jason Hartley and Aunt Shelly Cushman, of Utica. In addition he is also survived by his aunt Tammy (Dale) Austin, Lewiston, NY, his aunt, Jolene (Mark) Higby, Constableville; uncles, Kevin Vienneau (Jolanta), Columbia, SC, Daniel (Jeanne) Vienneau, Penneville, NY along with several cousins.

He was predeceased by his “Nana,” Marlene Doser, his grandfather, John Vienneau, grandmother, Ann Hartley, his great grandfather, Arleigh Hartley; uncle Robbie Hartley, who was Zavier’s namesake.

Calling hours are Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M, followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M., all at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, followed by a Celebration of his life at the Hulbert House, Downtown Boonville, where contributions of food may be dropped off beginning at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday.
