Sharon was the cherished daughter of Doris Reed and Charles Findlay. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Pat, her father Charles, her mother Doris, her son Jeff, and her devoted husband Skip, with whom she shared a loving marriage from April 11, 1998, until his passing. Her family was always her greatest source of pride and joy, and she leaves behind her son Jim, who she adored, and her precious granddaughter, Aubrey, who was the light of her life.

A proud graduate of Oriskany High School, Sharon dedicated her professional life to the service and care of others. She worked tirelessly as a social worker, passionately advocating for abused women. Her career also included many fulfilling years at the Eastern Star Home, where her compassion and dedication touched countless lives.

Sharon's life was a tapestry woven with love, generosity, and a spirit of giving. She was known for her love of family and the simple joys of life. Whether she was knitting a warm sweater, taking a peaceful walk, or sitting on her back porch watching the deer and turkeys, Sharon found beauty and contentment in every moment.
