Rome-Miss Margaret T. Backstahler, 88, of Georgian Arms Apts., North George St., passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Rome Memorial Hospital. A native of Buffalo, she was born on October 21, 1919. Margaret moved to Rome, many years ago where she was employed for the Rome City School System as a cafeteria staff member. She was a member of St. Peter's Church, Rome. Interment will be private in St. Peter's Cemetery, Rome. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville.
