Linda Lee Remmy

Holland Patent – Linda Lee Remmy, 73, of Thompson Road, became a beautiful angel on July 6, 2026 at Wynn Hospital, Utica, following her battle with cancer.

Linda was born on July 23, 1952 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of Cleatus B. and Frances Catherine Wilson Remmy. In her later teens, Linda was fostered by Jack and Sue Robinson, and has been a “Robinson Sister” ever since. She was a 1971 graduate of Grand Island High School. On October 9, 1973 Linda began her military service, serving in the US Army as an MP. She was honorably discharged on August 20, 1974.

Upon her discharge from the military, Linda moved to the West Coast, and lived in various places in California, where she was employed by Boeing Aircraft, Brea Mall as the general manager of maintenance. Linda obtained her Associates Degree and various other certifications including Quality Control “ASA 400”. She enjoyed the time she spent in California, and all of the special things it had to offer. She had many close friends and acquaintances that were her family while she was there, and have kept in close contact ever since.

By the early 2000’s, Linda had found her way to Arizona. Here she was employed for several years, retiring as Clerk of the Bisby Superior Court Office, Bisby, AZ. Linda returned to the East Coast in 2017 to be reunited with her Remmy and Robinson families.

She is survived by her mother Frances, brothers: Richard (Pam) Remmy, Robert (Cindy) Remmy, as well as Dinki, Donna, and Joy – The Robinson Sisters. She was predeceased by her father Cleatus, and foster parents Jack and Sue Robinson. Her faithful canine companion Cocoa passed away in February 2025.

The family would like to thank the Razzano family for their friendship and for taking such good care of Linda’s home. Also Pat Peep for her dedication to Linda’s care, and her community of friends for all of the loving support given to Linda.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no services.
