Evan J. Thomann

Forestport – Evan J. Thomann, 21, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Wynn Hospital, Utica.

He was born on October 24, 2004 in New Hartford, NY a son of Timothy and JoAnne Bush Thomann. He spent his entire life in Forestport, attending Forestport Elementary School, before completing his education at Adirondack Central School, Boonville. In his younger years, Evan enjoyed playing baseball, participating on the T-Ball, Little League and Babe Ruth Minor League teams.

Evan very much enjoyed time spent playing his guitar and was a connoisseur of rock and heavy metal music. He also spent time and liked gaming on his computer. He spent much time hanging out with his father, riding dirtbikes and snowmobiles.

He is survived by his parents Timothy and JoAnne Thomann, his brother Ethan Thomann, all of Forestport, his maternal grandmother Sharon Bush, Boonville, paternal grandmother Patricia Brann, Carson City, NV, and uncles Bradley Bush, Boonville, and Justin Thomann, NV.
