Donald Timothy Hutchins

Boonville – Donald Timothy Hutchins, 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Affectionately known as Tim, he was born on November 21, 1958 in Lowville, a son of Stanley Sr. and Shirley Kiser Hutchins. He grew up in southern Lewis County, where he received his education at South Lewis Central School. A lifelong farmer, Tim worked dairy farming with Mike Muha, and also enjoyed horse farming. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

Tim is survived by his daughter Shannon (John) Bailey and grandchildren: Amber (Mike) Chambers, Shawna (Cody) Bailey and John Bailey, a son Timothy (Andrea) Hutchins and grandchildren Timothy, Macy, Miley and Matix Hutchins, and son Shawn (Nichole) Hutchins, and grandchildren Kaitlyn, and Morgan (Nolan) Hutchins, and great-grandchildren: Mia, Willow, and Ryker. His fourth great-grandchild will be born in June.

He is also survived by his siblings: Stanley Jr. and Julie, Constableville, Ann and Harold Glouse, Jr., Boonville, Sandra Bender, Castorland, Steve, Boonville, Douglas and Lorrie, Constableville, Laura McCaw, Boonville, and Amy and Richard DeVaul, Carthage, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Barry, sister Karen, an infant sister Brenda, recently a brother David, and brother-in-law Alfred.
