Barneveld/Sauquoit - Dorothy A. (Joslin) Shortt, 89, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Folts Home in Herkimer. For a number of years, Dorothy, along with her husband Neil owned and operated Van's Tavern in Barneveld. Mr. Shortt died in 1992. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 25, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Church, Boonville, with Rev. Sean P. O'Brien officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boonville.
