Boonville- Barbara Shukwit, 75, of South Post St. IRA Home, passed away at the home on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Barbara was a daughter of John and Janet Dixon Shukwit; before moving to Boonville, for several years she resided in Port Leyden. She enjoyed music and shopping and attending the Schoonmaker Day Treatment Center, Boonville. Barbara is survived by her fellow Post St. facility residents and staff and was predeceased by a twin sister, Diane Baker. Her Funeral will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at 4:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., where Pastor Daniel Richter, will officiate and where a calling hour will be from 3 P.M. until the funeral. Interment will be in Boonville Cemetery.
