Adrienne J. Wright

Boonville - Adrienne J. Wright, 94, a long time resident of Moose River Road, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, in the comfort of her residence and surrounded by the loving care of her family and Hospice. A native of Rockland, Ontario, Canada, she was born on February 13, 1914 to Wilfride and Aurare Duquette LaLonde. She moved to the United States with her family at the age of fourteen, settling near Boonville in the early 1930's. On August 13, 1939, Adrienne was united in marriage with Vinal L. Wright in South Trenton, NY. Mr. Wright, a self-employed carpenter and home builder, died on November 28. 1996. Mrs. Wright attended Trinity Episcopal Church, Boonville, and was a fifty year member of Mappa-Salma Chaper O.E.S. Boonville. Adrienne loved feeding and watching birds, working in her garden, knitting and working as a beautician. She greatly loved and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, making sure that all felt welcome in her home. She is survived by three daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren, Andrea and Russell Hirschey, Kayuta Lake, and children Jonathan and Michele, Anita Gail and Jerry Hutton, Boonville, and children Chad and Shana, and Valerie and Joseph Ingerham, Mohawk, and son Joseph. She was predeceased by a daughter, Janis Lyke, on August 3, 1974, who is survived by children Shawn and Cheryl, TN. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren, Nathan, Joseph, Evan, Jack and Kathryn; three sisters, Ceile Brown, Plattsburg, Gulberte Britton, Rib Lake, WI, and Lucienne Brickey, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was also predeceased by a sister, Fern White, and a brother, Henry LaLonde. Her Funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Boonville, where The Reverend Linda Logan, Rector, will celebrate the Holy Eucharist. Interment will be in the spring in Boonville Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., 143 Schuyler Street, Boonville.
